MightyMeals Partners with Children’s National Hospital to Help Combat Childhood Food Insecurity
MightyMeals is proud to announce a new partnership with Children’s National Hospital, focused on expanding access to nutritious meals for families experiencing food insecurity across the Washington, D.C. region. As part of this initiative—and in honor of our upcoming 10-year anniversary—we will donate 10,000 meals over the next 10 months to families served through Children’s National’s Community Pediatric Health sites, which bring critical support directly into neighborhoods where access to healthy foods can be limited.
Starting this December, MightyMeals will provide a minimum of 200 meals per week, ensuring ongoing and reliable support to families who need it most.
This partnership holds deep personal meaning for MightyMeals CEO Chef Stefano Marzano, who received care at Children’s National for the first 18 years of his life after being born blind. Reflecting on the partnership, Stefano shared: “Children’s National played a transformational role in my life. Launching this partnership as we celebrate our tenth anniversary is incredibly meaningful. We’re honored to support families who are facing challenges of their own and to give back to the hospital that helped me become who I am today.”
