How to Meal Prep for MightyMeals 30 Day Challenge

By: Erica Jade

MightyMeals makes it easy to prep healthy meals for our 2022 New Year’s MightyMeals 30 Day Challenge. We offer over 100 high-quality, healthy meals, snacks, and a la carte items that are easy to search for by dietary preferences, protein type, macronutrient counts, or diet. HOW TO COUNT MACROS When you start planning meals for our 30 Day Health & Wellness Challenge, the first place to begin is to learn how to count macros for YOUR personal dietary needs and preferences (if you haven’t learned this already). Why? I think our MightyFIT Nutrition Expert Chase McKesey says it best. “Most importantly, counting macros will teach you the contents of different foods. Learning this will teach you to intuitively balance your diet and enable you to live a life free of tracking, logging, and weighing food. Understanding what you’re eating rather than simply eating what a diet tells you to is the key to a good relationship with food. Last but not least, counting macros just flat out works.” – Chase McKesey, Founder of TrophyBody Personal Training, Gym Owner at Sweat DC, & MightyFIT Nutrition Expert Step 1 Your first step in learning how to use macros to help you lose weight or meet other healthy dietary goals is to get information from qualified sources, such as Chase. His Macros 101 blog is full of expert advice and instructions on learning how to count macros to find what meals and foods are best for your current weight, your goal weight, and healthy eating goals. Step 2 Your second step is to plan your meals, food, and snacks for weight loss or other healthy goals for the New Year. Use your personal macronutrient breakdown that you found in step 1 to plan the meals and foods for the week by cooking or prepping them on your own or by ordering them through MightyMeals.  REMINDER: For this challenge, you need to order at least once a week (no order minimum), starting with getting deliveries this Saturday and/or Sunday (Jan. 1 or 2, 2022). The last day to order for these dates is this Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021. MACRO CALCULATOR FOR MEALS When you order meals from MightyMeals you can use our macro filter to find the exact meals to fit your personal meal plan. It’s as easy as 1-2-3!
