MightyMeals Is Running (and Rounding Up) for the 2026 Race for Every Child to Support Children’s National

This fall, MightyMeals is lacing up for a new way to support the families we serve alongside Children’s National. We’re a proud sponsor of the 2026 Race for Every Child 5K Run/Walk, the biggest annual peer-to-peer fundraising event for Children’s National. The 5K and 100-yard Kids Dash will take place on Saturday, Oct. 17 at Freedom Plaza in Washington, D.C., and virtually.

If you’ve followed our partnership with Children’s National, you know it’s personal. Our CEO, Chef Stefano Marzano, received care at Children’s National for the first 18 years of his life. Since December 2025, that partnership has grown into thousands of meals delivered to families managing food insecurity through Children’s National Community Pediatric Health locations. Now, we’re bringing that same commitment to the Race course.

Join Team MightyMeals

We’ve created a MightyMeals team for the Race for Every Child, and we want you on it. Whether you’re a runner, a walker, or someone who’d rather cheer from the couch, there’s a way for you to be part of the team and make a big difference for kids:
